Disturbing condolences for the ‘Dear Leader’

Did you know that North Korea has its own website? Interestingly enough, it’s not hosted in North Korea and it’s not even registered to anyone there. It’s hosted in Spain and registered to some Spanish dude named Jesus Pinazo.

From the front page of the website (http://www.korea-dpr.com), I clicked through to a link memorializing the ‘Great Leader’. While condolences came in from such likely places as the Swiss Juche Idea Study Group, the Polish Youth Communism Organization, and  New Dawn Magazine in Australia, there were also a number of individuals (including some Americans) who expressed their sadness at the passing of Kim.

For example:

It is always difficult for any family member to lose someone.
When an entire nation loses their leader it is a devastating event.
Based upon the limited access we have had in the USA regarding
Kim Jong II it seems he was a beloved man.

Please know not every citizen of our country views North Korea
as an enemy. You have the right to practice, preach and rule
however your leadership feels it has to. Our country and its form
of government is less than perfect. Greed, violence and inequality
are among a few of the many ills of our country and the West
in general.

George G. from USA

Or this one from Aron J:

May the Earth bless Man’s freedom to fight another day;
like your leader has. I stretch my hands in your support.

Your friend;

Mr. Aron J. from USA

And this one:

We all remember Kim Jong-il.  He was a good leader. We embrace you in your grief.  Sincerely, Christie E. Y.

Having lived in Asia for some years now, I am used to people here believing that Kim Jong-Il was a great leader and that North Korea is – contrary to ‘fabricated’ Western reports – a land of milk and honey.

But what kind of person in the West – with all of the information that we have available about North Korea – could still hold Kim Jong-Il up in high regard?

He was not a great mean. His life should not be celebrated. He should be remembered  for what he was; an evil man who cared only about power and luxury while his people starved to death.

    The Swiss study group is one of the most hilarious organizations in the known universe. Swiss study group on the Juche ideas of Kim Jong-Il?! Monty Python sketch? No?! Too funny.

    I’ve watched the American news concerning Kim Jong-il’s death and Kim Jong-un’s rise to power. Therefore, I am not surprised after watching the news that most of my fellow Americans are ignorant to what is going on in North Korea.
    I pray American people and government “wake up” to the terrors being inflicted on a Nation of God’s people, and stop the horrors and abuse.
    If other countries will rise up and beat us to it – and help to end the nightmare – I’ll just praise God for them.
    The people of North Korea are in my prayers many times a day. God bless them all. May God help them, keep them, and preserve them until the world awakens to the largest prison camp in the world – All of North Korea.

    Very interesting find. There are a handful of Americans who worsship the mentally Ill Jongs, including those in the Workers World Party and at one time, the Communist Party USA.
    Mental illness knows no bounds.

    PS: Change your screen colors from brown to white background and black print. BRown and light white are almost impossible to read. Red is horrible too.
