North Korea is one of the darkest countries in the world – in more ways than one. When the sun sets over the tiny Stalinist regime, most of the population is plunged into a night of pitch black darkness as a result of persistent fuel shortages in the country.

A 2006 satellite image from the Department of Defense contrasts North Korea and South Korea at night.

This eerie image from a viewer (June, 2009) shows a bridge that spans the Yalu River between China and North Korea. Can you guess which side belongs to North Korea?
Prayer Request: Please pray that the light of Jesus will pierce through the night and comfort our brothers and sisters who are suffering in this darkness.

The Light can overcome the darkness. The darkness seen in the photos is but a hint of the overwhelming darkness in North Korea. Please call on others to pray for North Korea. Jesus is the answer, prayer is the most power method to move all other actions forward and to success. He is able, but do we trust He is able; “will we pray”? I am thankful you are here – I would hate to be alone in this spiritual battle.
